I suffer from allergies big time. And to make them worse, my neighbor planted a bunch of Olive trees...which it just so happens...I’m allergic to as well. Going about my day with the windows open, so I can feel the breeze, is important to me. I saw this personal air purifier online, and so I got this guy to go on my desk. Now it’s possible to work from home during the pandemic and not have to deal with the stuffiness I used to experience. It’s quiet and seems to help my allergies. I think I found a keeper.

My family suffer from allergies and we have 3 dogs on top of it. We needed an air purifier that would help, but not hurt my wallet. After reading reviews and pricing them, I decided on getting a few Avari QB. I'm so happy with my purchase. Not only have they been breathing better, but the air smells better (we have a boy who is now a teen). The light sterilizer gives me a little more security with the air we breath. I definitely recommend.

Perfect for my home office.

I own several air purifiers throughout our home. Although they do a great job of filtering the air, they are quite bulky and noisy. So it ends up being placed on the floor in the corner of the room. Because it's so noisy, I only turn it on when I know the air quality is really bad.

I wanted a smaller and quieter air purifier that I can run 24 hours a day for my home office. I tried a couple of smaller purifiers in the $100~$150 models on Amazon but all HEPA purifiers tended to be noisy. I think it is because it has to force so much air to pass through the HEPA filter.

I was a little leery at first of buying the Avari QB not seeing any product reviews and never hearing of this brand. When I called Avari support to ask a couple of questions, the agent told me that QB had just recently launched, hence no reviews. She said that their products came with a Free Return guarantee so there was no risk to me.

I was delightfully surprised when I received and opened the QB. It is absolutely gorgeous in design. I ended up placing the QB on top of my desk next to the monitor and I have been using it for 2 weeks now. It's been on 24/7. It sounds like my desktop computer (very quiet). It's not like a fan breeze but more like a cool draft of clean air flowing into my breathing space. It is well built and solid. It says Made in Korea. I really like LG appliances I have at home.
